📢 Notice of Rate Adjustment & Additional Benefits for the Family Indemnity Plan
CUNA Caribbean Insurance Society Limited (CCIS) has served Credit Unions in Trinidad and Tobago for over 75 years. For the first time in more than 15 years, a rate adjustment will take effect on June 1, 2025 for the Family Indemnity Plan (FIP). Along with this, we’re introducing new benefits to give you and your family even more value and peace of mind.
🆕 New & Enhanced Features:
- Terminal Illness Benefit: Receive your full benefit while alive if diagnosed with a terminal illness and less than 6 months to live.
- Accidental Death Benefit: Double the coverage amount paid in the event of accidental death.
- Expanded Coverage: Now includes up to five (5) children—covering up to nine (9) family members total.
💡 Optional Critical Illness Rider – No Additional Cost Increase!
- Choose from 6 coverage levels, up to $600,000
- Covers 10 critical illnesses including Cancer, Stroke, Heart Attack, Major Burns, Alzheimer’s, and more.
