Textel Credit Union Covid-19 Update

By:

Dear Valued Member

Textel Credit Union has served our members faithfully for the past forty-eight (48) years and plans to continue doing so throughout these uncertain times and for many generations to come.

The overall health, safety and general wellness of all Members is of Paramount Importance to the Society, which is based on the Co-operative Principle of ‘People Helping People’. It is against this backdrop that we are monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and its impact on the financial circumstances of our members.

For members who are unable to meet their obligations due to the impact of COVID-19 we urge you to reach out to us and we will examine your specific circumstance and offer a best fit solution. All other are encouraged to continue making their payments. If you need to visit the Office, the Society’s Management has implemented preventive protocols to protect all the Building’s occupants, including the following:

  • Social distancing – no physical contact with other persons.
  • A maximum of two (2) persons will access the first floor Member Service Area at once.
  • We have set up a waiting area on the ground floor to facilitate this measure.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed in the lobby and Office areas.
  • Office hours have been reduced to Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 1:00pm until further notice.
  • Members are required to make appointments to conduct transactions.
  • Members without appointments will be asked to wait patiently until those with appointments have been seen.

To minimize the spread of COVID-19, we urge you to follow the advice of the authorities to ‘stay at home’ as far as possible.

We can be contacted as follows:

  • Tel: 624-1244;
  • WhatsApp: 785-7405
  • Email: membership@textelcu.com

For statements, letters or other enquiries you may contact us using any of the channels stated above. All scheduled appointments will be facilitated via telephone or WhatsApp.

We will continue to follow the recommendations and directives issued by the Ministry of Health and other relevant authorities.

Though the times may be uncertain you can be sure that your Credit Union is there for you! We are all in this fight together.
